Yes, we have to. Guests will be given masks and hand sanitizer to keep on them for the night. A private nurse will be hired to take temperatures and screen guests upon arrival both Friday and Saturday nights. We moved our ceremony from inside a church to outside at Riverside Yacht Club to make sure everyone gets fresh air. Tables will be spread out with no more than 6-8 people per table.
A dance floor is not allowed at Riverside Yacht Club, so we will be shuttling people to private property (5 minutes away) for dancing, drinking, food trucking, dessert, and the true celebration!
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
We love your little ones - we really do - but we also want you to have a night off! If you need help arranging a local babysitter, let us know.
Summer chic. What's summer chic exactly? Your guess is as good as ours, but let's put it this way - it's a summer wedding in August. It could be 70 degrees. It could be 90 degrees. Dress accordingly. 😉
And P.S. - we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose!

The ceremony is at 5:00PM OUTDOORS and is located at Riverside Yacht Club in Riverside, Connecticut. The reception will immediately follow at the same location.

Historically speaking, in Riverside, CT it's been a high of 79 degrees during the day and low of 62 degrees. Bring a light jacket or a shawl if the winds pick up along the harbor! 😉

On Friday, August 21st, the evening before the wedding, we are having Welcome Cocktails and lite bites on the water for all guests that can make it. It starts at 6:00PM and will be on the lawn outside at American Yacht Club in Rye, NY.
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
Transportation will be provided from The J House hotel to the reception at Riverside Yacht Club. Transportation will also be provided back to the hotels after the reception.
We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes (~ 4:45PM) before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! Ceremony starts at 5PM!
Parking is free and available at Riverside Yacht Club.
Parking at the J House hotel is free, too.
We have reserved a room block at The J House hotel in Riverside, CT. The bride and groom are staying at The J House.
The J House Hotel ($229/night) - this is a hip hotel and is a 2 minutes walk from the church and 5 minutes drive to the venue.
- We will also be having our our late night after party here Saturday night in their outdoor garden.
- The hotel charges a $12 amenity fee upon check in, but this fee includes, valet parking, continental breakfast, Wi-Fi, pool and gym access.
- If you want to schedule any spa services, you can contact Danielle Cervi, their Spa Manager at (203)698-6988.
- You can reserve your room at The J House discounted link HERE. Book immediately - there are limited rooms at this location and the cutoff for the discount rate is July 21, 2020.
Please RSVP by June 22, 2020. You can snail mail your reply using the pre-postaged envelope or RSVP online HERE. Please be sure to indicate if you plan on attending the Welcome Drinks the night before out in Riverside, Connecticut.
There will be a cocktail hour with light hors d'oeuvres and cocktails immediately after the church ceremony (from ~ 5:00-6:30PM). There will be a full dinner and desserts served at the reception. And, of course, there will be late night snacks!

It's an organization at our local church where we volunteer and pack goodie bags and the distribute them to the homeless of New York City.
